A Great Family Camping Experience! |
Lakeside Place has a variety of campsites: Full-hookup (electric/water/sewer), partial hook-up (no sewer/use our free dump site), tent sites (close to all the amenities) primitive sites, and seasonal and long-term RV sites.
|
Camp here and you can enjoy watching the creek as it meanders from Byron Lake to Tanwax Lake. This small shallow (ankle-deep) creek can provide hours of entertainment for inquisitive minds as well as a restful afternoon for those individuals who prefer to read a book next to a stream or take a well earned nap. It is truly a beautiful setting for your next camp-out. Most of the sites along the creek are partial-hook-up and tent sites. |

The Beechnut Camping area is located under an old stand of Beechnut Trees. Most of the sites are for tents with some partial hook-ups for RV's. On a warm afternoon, this is the perfect place to be. Large groups that are camping like this area. There is a horseshoe pit nearby and a grassy field in front of the sites where children can play. It is a very pleasant area close to the Timber Lodge.

These campsites look out on the 172-acre Tanwax Lake. Camp here and you see the sun set over the lake. Close by but not too close, you will find the store, rec room, office, laundry, bathhouse, basketball court, horseshoe pit, volleyball area, playground, swimming area, fishing dock, boat launch, and much more. All sites have a picnic table and a fire ring. These sites are very popular and families love them |

The Eagle's Ridge camping area is located on the edge of the wetlands. All sites have full hook-ups. Nearby is Eagle's Hall, the perfect place for a small meeting, family reunion, or get-together of any kind. RV groups love this area. The hall has a kitchen, bathrooms/showers (3), a piano, and couches for your comfort. If you prefer the outdoors for your activities, there is a huge deck with picnic tables that allows you to view the beauty of undisturbed nature. Each of these grassy campsites has a picnic table and fire ring. Most of the sites in this area are full hook-ups. |
