The Fireside Lounge is the focal point of the Lodge. It is large enough for meetings, or smaller groups might enjoy gathering around the floor-to-ceiling fireplace for informal discussions. The lounge is newly carpeted and furnished with leather furniture for your comfort. There is a piano, TV/VCR, and overhead projector with screen. |

This warm and inviting two-story building with timber log interior sleeps 54, dormitory style. It is divided into two wings with seven bedrooms on each side. Each wing has its own bathroom with two showers, two toilets, and three sinks. Each bedroom has four comfortable bunks (one has a futon). Guests utilizing Cedar Lodge usually bring their own sleeping bags and pillows. |

Downstairs you can enjoy the familiar sounds and smells of the evening meal being prepared in Cedar Lodge’s commercial kitchen. Our kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal or meals for a group of hungry kids. Our modern kitchen has a six-burner gas stove with two convection ovens, and a pancake griddle. Other equipment includes; an ice machine, two refrigerators, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. Plus there are two rice cookers, four hotel-style serving units, two 100-cup and two 40-cup coffee makers and a food processor. Also provided are all cooking and preparation utensils, silverware, and dishes. The kitchen comes stocked with salt and pepper shakers, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, dishwashing detergent, and cleaning supplies. You can cook your own meals, or you can have a caterer provide them.

Also on the lower level you will find the dining room with tiled floors, and clear finished cedar walls with a view of the lake. The warmth and charm of this room makes it ideal for banquets. You can comfortably seat 90, but can seat an additional 40 by placing tables in the foyer. Or you can spill out onto the terrace where seating is almost unlimited. A game room is located at the opposite end of the building and has foosball, air hockey, and vending machines. The foyer has a portable ping-pong table.

Just outside on the terrace you can enjoy a barbecue or just sit at the picnic tables and enjoy the view. The lodge has a wrap-around deck for your enjoyment. You can watch the sun set over Tanwax Lake or you might even catch a glimpse of a bald eagle roosting on the old snag down the shore.
